The Rich North Sea and ReVIFES organized the third webinar on nature development in the North Sea. This webinar focused on nature enhancement in the Belgian North Sea.
Ecologists Yana Deschiet (Belgian federal government) and Steven Degraer (Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences) took us on a tour of the ecological effects of offshore wind farms. They also told about the Belgian monitoring program WinMon.BE with the aim of an efficient and effective environmental impact assessment of offshore wind farms.Organizers
